Menno Beker

Beker is an entrepreneur and seasoned executive with over 18 years of digital experience specialising in retail and e-commerce ecosystems, marketing, mobile, multi-channel and social, with proven results building highly effective global digital strategies. His expertise spans over several operations. He currently is an advisor and boardroom consultant of several businesses and he was Founder/CEO of the Creaal Group. Eye-wear part of the Creaal Group was nominated for various prizes such as the Thuiswinkel Award, De Loey Award and Sprout. Creaal Holding was sold in 2010.

In August 2010, Beker co-authored the book 'Raak! Effective Communication from Informing to Co-Creating' which when published became a management top 100 best-selling book.He became a public speaker and boardroom consultant.

From 2013 till mid 2014, Beker has been active as Director and VP, EMEA Relations for Powa Technologies, founded by the British entrepreneur Dan Wagner. During his tenure, Powa has raised $100M in Series A from Wellington. In June, Powa acquired Hong Kong competitor Znap, in a $76M all shares deal, valuing Powa Technologies at $2.7B.

In 2014 Beker joined Medici Group as a Member of the Board. Medici is founded by Gunther Schmidt and Michael Ambrose. Medici Living and eKomi are part of the Medici Group. In 2015 eKomi Goldman Sachs became a key investor in the fast growing company. eKomi acquired several Companies amongst others Reviewcentre, Reputami, Bankingcheck.
He also Serves as a advisory Board Member in a Polish and US based company.

Beker is Father of 4 kids and lives in the Netherlands.
